Hello.
I was looking to the nuance website today and i found that they released a new version of talks that works with third edition mobile phones.
I never seen a third edition mobile phone but they sound interesting.
Visit www.nuance.com/talks for more information and click on list of phones to see which phones work with this new version. All the third edition phones are on the top.
They also changed their download page. Now you choose your phone model and it takes you to the apropriate page.
If you try it with a third edition phone it would be good if you write here what a third edition phone is like and what is the difference between the other phones we had untill now.

Nikos, I have a Third edition Symbian phone, with talks, it's the N91. and as for what the differences are between Symbian series 1, 2 and 3, I couldn't tell you. Nor could I explain what if any major changes there has been in the talks software. However, Third generation is the new and latest opporating system designed by the phone companies, and so talks had to be updated to work. All it means for you is, that when you are ready to get a new phone, it will likely be one of these phones and so will need to be sure to get the correct vertion of the software.

Hi Kevin.
Thanks for posting.
Yes i also think that is not any difference between talks second and third edittion appart from the way the programing was written maybe because i downloaded the manual for third edition and i discovered that they are exactly the same the two manuals.
It was good to hear your experience.

I can't wait to get the E61. It is one of these 3rd gen phones. It has WiFi, and is quadband. It also has a built-in tts engine, so i can use that as well as eloquence.
